Ode to Failure
“Ode to Failure” is comprised of three failed attempts at casting glass perfume bottles. I made this piece for myself as a reminder that we learn far more from our failures than from our successes, and one should never be afraid to try something new. Cracked Mud Bowl
This was an experiment to play with sandblasting a cracked mud appearance in glass, as well as mounting machined legs for bowls and other ceremonial vessels. I plan to revisit these ideas in the future and produce a limited series of bowls with legs. 22cm x 22cm x 6cm. 2019
